The Susan Bentley School of Dance was founded in 1981.
The Susan Bentley School of Dance opened its doors in 1981.
The school is under the directorship of Mrs Susan Bentley and her team of experienced teachers.
Children from as young as three years old to professional dancers are encouraged to take their first dance steps or prepare for their teaching examinations or auditions in a friendly atmosphere. All pupils are prepared for recognised exams of the IDTA and NCDTA this encourages a gradual progress and a chance to achieve according to their talents and abilities.
The school sets a high standard and several of the pupils have gone on to the professional stage.
Learning Commitment, Discipline and Determination.
At Simply Dance Academy, first and foremost we want our students to enjoy dancing and gain a lifelong love of dance and an appreciation of the art. Developing skills that will help in all walks of life, such as teamwork, respect for teachers, themselves and other students, learning commitment, discipline and determination.
Over the past 30 years, many students have passed through the school. (Some are still here!)
We're very proud of all the former students. We have Barristers, Doctors, Teachers, Dancers, Estate Agents and Mums, staying in touch from all over the world.
All our teachers are qualified, insured and have been C.R.B. checked, they all participate in an ongoing career development training programme.
